The Real Secret! Three Levels of Enlightenment (part One)

Many years ago in the early 70s I shut the door in my room to meditate determined not to come until I had my question answered. What is the meaning of my life in this apparent rat race that I am apart of? To my surprise shortly I had my first spiritual awakening of oneness with all existence and it furthered developed into unique and powerful universal loving feeling for God and compassion for all. Words cannot adequately describe this experience but I will use some words that give some glimpse of it. This powerful awakening of oneness and spiritual love lasted three weeks without interruption day and night. I discovered for the first time that the entire fulfillment I was looking for externally in life I already had attained.  My completeness, eternal soul mate within, feelings of rapturous ecstasy, and a sincere love for everyone and everything were all within my very own self. I had found my Source, God, Over Soul, Higher Self, or The Great Spirit. It is called by many names but unless one can progressively gain some experience of what these words are pointing to then the words are of little value. Even though the experience of this spiritual union eventually subsided I know it is always around and always will be forever.  If this profound experience of uniting again with the deeper self would have lasted longer my physical body would have been burned up due to the extreme intensity of the experience of massive spiritual energy moving through it.

I only mention this uncommon experience because it relates to the subject of this article. It also helps bring into focus what I believe to be the most essential consciousness of immense universal value for mankind to awaken at some point of their evolution.  This particular Spiritual Awakening only encompassed two levels of realization of the Eternal Universal Self. There is another more complete level of self realization which I want to gradually discuss in part two of this series of articles.  For various reasons it is much more important and it is readily available at this time in history if we are made aware of its existence.

 What Value is there in realizing the existence of our Eternal Source?  I can say a lot about this on the basis of personal experience. It’s been more than thirty five years since having this unique communion with the Absolute Essential Self. I recently asked Source to reveal to me what purpose I am in this world for and  how I can best utilize my energy and talents to assist myself and others in this world? What form should it take?  This particular article appears to begin to embody the answer to my petition.   

All of what I believe we are universally looking for is to be found in this one place and access to it is from within our own self. In the words of the great enlightened being, Jesus, he said, “the kingdom of God is within and at hand”.  Generally speaking, most of us have desires we want to fulfill. Those who have realized the essence of truth petition the Original Source of all abundance for their life supplies. This is the source of all creativity, personal power, all knowledge, feeling completeness without a partner, and abundance. This list would go on forever- we can simply say that everything that we could imagine desiring comes from this one storehouse and we all share common access to it.  Those who have found their Absolute Eternal Source find little importance to go externally to receive truth, knowledge or creativity. By virtue of their own personal established communion with Eternal Source everything needed is drawn from it. It’s like one has deep limitless well on their property.

Another example is that one can practically channel through both ancient and new knowledge to benefit oneself and others. To illustrate this I will use a personal experience. Some years ago I took responsibility to teach what I had realized about one of the three levels of Self Realization to students. As it became known I used to sometimes get criticized by certain Gurus who had numerous disciples and were well known. They and their disciples were befuddled because some of the methods and what I taught they had never heard of before because they were created right on the spot spontaneously according to the need of the present moment situation. What I was teaching was producing practical results in powerful spiritual attunements, transformations and personal grounding, something that they were only still dreaming about.  What I taught never was the result of arduous intellectual studies of the Vedic knowledge. I simply blissfully relished reading certain Vedic teachings regularly but when It came to teaching students I used no notes and simply allowed the Source to bring to class what was needed in the moment. My classes were usually not less than two to three hours and no one that I remember got bored.  Not any of this is credit to me which in truth is insignificant.  I would personally listen back to the tape recordings amazed and learning from them myself what had come through in the class.  The real credit is all due to my amazing Ally and Eternal Friend, Source. We all have access to this Abundant Eternal Source.  I am very enthusiastic to share what I have discovered with all my natural relatives willing to listen and who may not yet know that at the root of our existence we are all intimately related.   Since that fateful day thirty five years ago I have been practicing bringing these realizations for the benefit of myself and others. If one somehow gets to the top of a mountain they must also descend to the base of it again if one wants to live a life of practical service in this world. I seemed to have been pushed up there somehow because I certainly did not perform and austere vows or penances to get there, at least in this life. I have found not always an easy task to share such truth in this world. We are conditioned for lifetimes to identify our self falsely with subtle and gross matter. Most of us need much ongoing purification. Many of the alleged enlightened Gurus are still in the shower and being purified even though they may not admit it publicly. Some can be receiving a rush of ego inflation being controlled by disciples who worship their feet and praise them with choice words as being the best perfect master. Been there and done that one myself.  Oh well we all have our way of learning and getting purified. I don’t believe the all knowing source pays too much mind to whatever process we need to go through for learning our personal life lessons.  

One essential point of this article is to generate enthusiasm for others to set a priority intention towards attaining this eternal realm first and not get lost in desiring externally too much extravagant Source generated opulence. The spiritually pregnant words of the enlightened master Jesus are appropriate here who said, “Seek out first the Kingdom of God and all else will be added to you as well”. It’s amazing how perfect he could illustrate the essence of important truth in a one liner. He knew that if one would reawaken their relationship and connection with the Eternal Source of their existence they could draw from this deep endless wellspring all that would be needed in life to feed themselves and others physically, psychologically, emotionally, and spiritually as well.  Fortunate persons who manifest the same Source awakened consciousness as Jesus did are the best healers because they can administer treatment to all levels of disease which  all stem from a souls in ignorance of their own relationship to their Eternal Root Source.
