As said awhile ago, because of the ringing sound, some patients get restless nights, difficult for them to achieve good sleep. The lack of sleep could lad to a weak immune system. Having weak immune system, a body could catch all sorts of diseases. So what seems to be a little problem could cause a greater one. Taking in food or food supplements that is rich in zinc could help boost the immune system of the body. Furthermore, a good and healthy diet is recommended at all times. There are certain foods that must be avoided once you have a tinnitus. They could be any of the following: salty foods, cheese, chocolate, dairy products, saturated fats and sugar. Some of these can make your blood sugar decrease, thus leading to tinnitus. Coffee and tea must also be avoided as it increases the pain. Patients with tinnitus are advised to eat fresh and raw fruits, green vegetables, protein rich diet and foods rich in vitamin A, vitamin B, vitamin E, zinc and choline. Dried fruits are also good as it enhances blood circulation.

Another important factor as a tinnitus remedies would be living in a healthy lifestyle of which includes the prohibition of drinking and smoking as both of these can increase the blood pressure. Then there is exercise. It is important to be fit physically and mentally also to keep the blood pressure at a normal level. Self-medication is not advisable as some medicines may aggravate ringing in the ears. Yoga may be a good considered as one of the tinnitus remedies as it increases GABA level in the body, resulting to a controlled ringing in the ear.

Taking a good sleep is good for those with tinnitus. For some who couldn’t sleep, Tinnitus remedies for this are to have a radio near the bed ad set it to some tuning station. This will neutralize the internal sound of the ear, helping the person get a better sleep.

A new way of tinnitus remedies which makes you overcome the ringing in the ears without any adverse side effects would be the ear drumming technique. The person has to close his ears by using his palm positioned in such a way that the fingers are at the back of his skull. Then the index finger will be positioned at the top of his middle finger and make his index finger slide through the middle finger till it reaches the skull. This makes a drumming sound. This technique could control the ringing of the ears and should be done 40-50 times daily.
